‘We’ Have Control Of Iran’s Skies, Says Trump

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that “we” have control of the skies over Iran as questions grew over whether the United States will join Israel’s strikes against the Islamic republic.

“We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran,” Trump said on Truth Social, hailing the use of US-made weaponry although without explicitly mentioning Israel. “Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.”

Trump also dramatically stepped up his rhetoric against Iran’s supreme leader saying on social media that the United States knows where Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is located but will not kill him “for now.” Trump is also calling for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there — We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

“But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” said Trump.

Trump flew back early from the G7 summit in Canada late Monday as the conflict between Iran and key US ally Israel escalated, and was set to meet top officials in the White House Situation Room on Tuesday.

The US president has so far stressed that his country is not getting involved in the conflict, and has said that Iran could still take a deal to end its nuclear program that he had proposed before Israel’s attacks.

The president said earlier Tuesday he was seeking “a real end” to the conflict, saying that he’s “not looking for a ceasefire.” The president also described what he was seeking as a “complete give-up” by Iran.

“I think they know not to touch our troops,” he said of Iran, warning the U.S. would be “gloves off” in its response.

Trump signs executive order targeting ticket price reselling

  President Trump signed an executive order targeting the ticket reselling industry during a signing ceremony from the White House. The new order will allow the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission to go after the reselling industry, which has used computer bots and algorithms to buy large blocks of tickets and resell them at extremely higher prices.  Musician Kid Rock, who also appeared at the Republican National Convention last July, was present at the signing in the Oval Office.  The president also took several questions from the press, including on the possibility of additional sanctions on Russia, immigration, and tariffs. “I’ve spoken to him over the years about it and it bothers him,” Trump said about Kid Rock during the executive order’s signing. “It bothers a lot of other artists.
