Mohammed made this known at a press conference in Abuja, on Tuesday. The minister had announced that online media will be regulated when he inaugurated a seven-man committee set up to implement reforms in the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).The reforms that will be implemented by the committee are recommendations approved by President Muhammadu Buhari. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi President Trump termed the raid on ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi "impeccable" during a press conference at the White House this morning while sharing details of the mission. NYSC Members To Enjoy New Minimum Wage

                                                             Mr Sunday Dare The Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare, says members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) would enjoy the new minimum wage of N30,000 like other workers across the federation.  Mr Dare disclosed this via a series of tweets on Wednesday. He said the Director General of NYSC, Brig Gen Shuaibu Ibrahim would provide details of the new allowance for the Youth Corp members after full briefing from the Ministries of Finance And MYSD. In addition, the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has ordered that payments of the new minimum wage and the consequential adjustments must be completed by the 31st of December, 2019. The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, made this known when he briefed State House correspondents on the outcome of the Council meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Wednesday.

Driver arrested after 39 bodies found in tractor-trailer - Essex police.

The driver of the Bulgarian-registered vehicle, which appears to have traveled via Dublin, is being held on suspicion of murder. The vehicle is believed to have originated from Bulgaria and entered the United Kingdom through Holyhead port in Wales on Oct. 19, police said.  The U.K. Home Office, the government department in charge of domestic security and immigration, will be working with Essex police authority on the investigation. "This is a tragic incident where a large number of people have lost their lives," Essex Police Chief Superintendent Andrew Mariner said in a statement . He argued that the press has treated the Biden family more favorably than his family. Omoyele Sowore  A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Monday October 21,2019 has reduced the bail terms handed to Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare - Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, the presiding judge, reduced Sowore’s bail bond to the N50m down from N100m   She also reduced Bakare’s bail from N50m to N20m The bail terms handed to Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, over charges of treason preferred on him by the federal government have been reportedly reduced.   The judge also ordered that sureties to the defendants are no longer required to deposit evidence of the funds with the court registrar.

The directive was issued by the Minister of Communications, Dr. Isa Pantami, on Sunday after a twitter user, Mustapha Hadi, tweeted at Pantami, requesting he acts on the claim. MTN had sent a message to its mobile customers that with effect from October 21, 2019, N4 will be charged on every 20 seconds spent while using USSD access to banking services. “Yello, Please note that from Oct 21, we will charge N4 per 20 seconds for USSD access to banking services. Thomas Gardner, Jr., was found dead from a self inflicted gunshot inside 331 Griggs Road on July 31, according to the York County's Sheriff Office. They said the bodies of two women were also discovered inside the house The women were later identified as Thomas Gardner's mother, 69-year-old Susan Gardner, and her sister, 77-year-old Ruth Allred. Officials said Thomas Gardner died by suicide days before the bodies were found and left a note with details about the women. Turkey will not back down from its offensive against Kurdish fighters in northeastern Syria "no matter what anyone says", Erdogan echoed, saying that the battle would continue until "ultimate victory" is achieved. "We are determined to continue the operation until the end, without paying attention to threats. We will absolutely finish the job we started. Our battle will continue until ultimate victory is achieved," Erdogan said during a speech in the Azerbaijan's capital, Baku. He is not comfortable with the European Union and Arab League for their criticism of Turkey's operation and asked for international funds for Ankara's "safe zone" plans in northeast Syria. According to Fox News, Brooklyn-based creative label MSCHF is responsible for releasing the shoe, which is a pair of all-white Nike Air Max 97s -- though the design is in no way affiliated with Nike -- that have been injected with holy water sourced from the Jordan River. The water, which is visible in the see-through sole, has some coloring added to enhance visibility. Less than two dozen of the Jesus Shoes were made with no plans to create more, according to MSCHF. SD card found in street shows brutal killing, man charged

An Alaska man has been charged with murder after police tracked him through an SD memory card that contained  photos and video of the crime, the card was found in the street, according to authorities. Brian Steven Smith, 48, of Anchorage, is charged with first-degree murder, according to court records. A criminal complaint was filed against him Monday. According to Anchorage police officials , Smith, a South African native, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon at the Ted Stevens International Airport, where he had just flown in. The card was labeled “homicide at midtown Marriott,”  according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the the Anchorage Daily News . “The SD card contained several videos which appeared to show the assault and subsequent homicide of an adult female,”  Anchorage police said in a news release . “Detectives with the homicide unit were notified and began an investigation.”

Senator Dino , a People's Democratic Party [PDP ] member was declared the winner of the February election by the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC]. He imperatively beat local TV station owner David Woods to become mayor of Montgomery. Mr Reed won 67% of the 48,979 votes cast in Tuesday's run-off, according to preliminary results.                                          Picture File Copy-The Chief of  Defence  Staff (CDS), General A.G  Olonisakin The Board of Inquiry set up by the Defence Headquarters in  Abuja,  has ordered punitive sanctions for five personnel of the Nigerian Army and the police over the killing of three policemen and one civilian in Ibi, Taraba State, on August 6. The board, in a statement by the DHQ on Tuesday, identified the officers to face disciplinary sanctions to include; Captain Tijani Balarabe, Sergeant Ibrahim Mohammed, Corporal Bartholomew Obanye of the Ibi Police Division, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Aondoona Iorbee, and Inspector Aliyu Dadje The panel said the officers must be taken through “necessary disciplinary measures.” It was also recommended that further investigation be conducted on Hamisu Bala, the Taraba kidnap kingpin, for gunrunning.
