IPOB Urges Southeast Residents to Ignore Unofficial Sit-at-Home Order

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called on Southeast residents to disregard a sit-at-home order issued by an unknown group. In a statement on Monday, IPOB clarified that the order did not come from their organization.
Social media has circulated audio and video messages advising residents to avoid public spaces, keep children home from school, and close businesses, with threats against those who do not comply.
IPOB spokesperson Emma Powerful emphasized that IPOB had suspended all sit-at-home actions and denounced the order as coming from "criminal elements and Finland-based infiltrators." He urged residents to carry on with their normal activities.
