Damar Hamlin is breathing on his own and he's spoken to his teammates via video

Buffalo Bills Safety, Damar Hamlin showing signs of improvement. Doctors say that Hamlin has opened his eyes and has been moving his hands and feet. He has also been responsive to a few questions and commands. According to a team statement, Hamlin said: "Love you boys". 

He was tranquilized and placed on a ventilator after his collapse Monday – began awakening late this week and was able to have his breathing tube removed before Friday morning. 

On Thursday, the Bills announced that Hamlin has shown what physicians treating him are calling "remarkable improvement over the past 24 hours."
