A Germantown Family in Tennessee welcomed a wonderful baby girl this week, and her birthdate and time are incredibly special.
Christina Malone-Brown was born at 9:11 p.m. on 9/11 and also Christina’s weight is 9 pounds, 11 ounces.
“Oh my God! This is 9-11, 9-11, 9-11 baby,” the doctor said when the triple coincidence was realized, parents Cametrione Malone-Brown and Justin Brown told ABC7 News.
Rachel Laughlin, head of women's services at the hospital said such a coincidence was extremely rare.
"I've worked in women's services for over 35 years, and I've never seen a baby's birthdate, time of birth, and weight all be matching numbers," she said.

Trump vows no new Iran strike prior to US midterm elections

President Donald Trump declared a temporary suspension of military operations targeting Iran, explicitly excluding any fresh strikes before the November 3, 2026 U.S. midterm elections. Through a Truth Social post, Trump attributed this pause to "productive discussions" with Tehran. Trump made clear that although the U.S.-led economic blockade on Iran continues unabated, military strikes will be withheld until after the midterms. He reinforced his commitment, declaring, "IRAN WILL NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!" The announcement promptly calmed international energy markets. Before his statement, crude oil had climbed more than 5% following reports from Washington and New York news organizations suggesting the White House was seeking Pentagon strike plans to strengthen Republican electoral performance. Following his clarification, oil prices declined. This temporary halt emerges approximately eight months into an extended conflict that started with coordinated U.S. and ...

As Georgia prepares for its 2026 United States Senate election on November 3, 2026, independent polling and media surveys paint a compelling picture: Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff is positioned ahead of his Republican opponent, Representative Mike Collins, and he's significantly outpacing his challenger in fundraising strength. Ossoff's campaign announced an impressive $33 million raised in the third quarter alone, providing him with $26 million in available funds heading into the campaign's final phase. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and University of Georgia collaborated on a poll released October 21, 2026, revealing Ossoff commanding an 8-point advantage over Collins. The numbers showed Ossoff at 48% support compared to Collins's 40%, with 12% of likely voters still undecided. The survey identified clear demographic patterns: Ossoff resonates strongly with women, Black communities, and younger voters, while Collins finds his base among white voters and seniors ag...

Gov. Kemp Declares Emergency as Hurricane Isaias Approaches

-

Governor Brian Kemp has strategically issued a comprehensive statewide emergency executive order encompassing all 159 counties as Georgia fortifies itself against Hurricane Isaias's anticipated impacts. The storm has intensified into a formidable Category 2 hurricane positioned in the Gulf of Mexico, with meteorologists projecting its center will make landfall along the northern Gulf Coast late Friday night or early Saturday morning.  Although Georgia sits outside the direct path of the hurricane's eye, forecasters warn that severe weather phenomena—including torrential rainfall, widespread flooding, powerful 50 mph wind gusts, and potentially dangerous spin-up tornadoes—will advance inland into the state beginning Friday evening. This executive order strategically empowers state agencies to position critical response resources ahead of time and authorizes the mobilization of up to 500 Georgia National Guard troops should conditions deteriorate. This action complements an earli...
