Federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) executed a court-authorized search warrant at Representative Ilhan Omar's D.C.-area residence early this morning as part of an active criminal investigation into her family's historical immigration documentation. According to statements from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and informed sources, the early morning search was carried out by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in connection with an ongoing federal criminal investigation into suspected immigration fraud. The investigation stems from a prolonged criminal probe involving whistleblower accounts, documentary evidence, and witness statements. The examination is investigating potential false statements, document falsification, and identity or benefits fraud. White ...

Delta Air Lines has officially postponed its highly anticipated nonstop service connecting Atlanta (ATL) and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (RUH) until March 2027. This decision comes in response to a devastating weekend assault involving missiles and drones launched by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi militants against Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport, resulting in at least 12 fatalities, hundreds of injuries, and a temporary shutdown of airport operations. The eagerly promoted route—which would establish Delta as the sole U.S. airline providing direct flights to the Kingdom—was initially set to launch later this month on October 23, 2026. The service launch has now been rescheduled to March 2027. Meanwhile, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has released guidance directing U.S. airlines to "proceed with heightened caution" at all flight levels when traveling to or across Saudi Arabian airspace due to active military operations and potential navigation risks....

Pope Leo XIV will undergo admission to Rome's Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic Hospital late Tuesday morning for a surgical procedure to remove a localized lung nodule.  The Vatican press office confirmed this timeline following the 71-year-old pontiff's unexpected announcement during his Sunday Angelus prayer. This procedure represents the first hospitalization of his papacy since his election on May 8, 2025. The surgery will address a pulmonary nodule—a small, localized growth of tissue—that physicians identified at a very early stage during recent routine medical checkups. The Vatican anticipates a recovery period of approximately one week at Gemelli Hospital to support complete healing. Outside oncologists note that when a localized nodule is found to be malignant, surgical removal at such an early stage provides an excellent prognosis. The Chicago-born pope, recognized for his robust constitution and active lifestyle, maintained a full schedule of private audiences on Monday, s...
