Six charged after fight, gun found at East Coweta-Newnan High School football game
Deputies assigned to security at the high school football game observed a fight erupt near the entrance of Garland Shoemake Memorial Stadium, as they were actively stationed there to oversee the crowds.
The incident took place during the football game between East Coweta High School and Newnan High School in Coweta County, Georgia on August 28, 2026, at about 9.30 PM.
