Driver’s license belongs to the Federal Government - FRSC Boss

Kwara - Nigeria. - The FRSC RS8 .17 Ilorin unit commander, Zakari Mohammed, declared that drive's license belongs to the Federal Government, warning that it has a legal power to retain driver's license of any faulty motorist. He said this yesterday at a stakeholder's meeting in Ilorin. 
Mr Kayode Ajibike, FRSC's legal officer also pointed out that officers have the legal power to toll vehicles of any erring driver, saying such vehicle would be handed over to the police.
