A celebration of twenty-two years in the making - how Arsenal commemorated their title victory

For supporters of Arsenal, the wait to celebrate a Premier League victory has been exceedingly long. Therefore, they ensured that Tuesday night was memorable.

Supporters congregated outside the Emirates Stadium and in nearby pubs while their rivals, Manchester City, faced Bournemouth, needing a victory to remain in contention for the title. Ultimately, Pep Guardiola's team could only manage a draw, thereby confirming Arsenal as champions for the first time in 22 years.

 As the final whistle blew on the south coast, an eruption of joy resonated in pubs throughout north London as Arsenal fans rejoiced in a moment they had feared might never arrive after several near misses for the title. Celebrations also took place at the Gunners' training facility.

This was where the Arsenal squad had assembled for the evening, and similar to the atmosphere in the pubs, the final whistle was met with exuberant celebrations. 
Players and staff danced and embraced while chanting: "Campeones, Campeones, Ole Ole Ole!" Just last month, Arsenal captain Declan Rice was observed asserting that "it's not done" following the Gunners' defeat to Manchester City. However, on Tuesday, with the title race concluded, he shared a photo on social media of the players celebrating, captioned: "It's done."

The championship victory occurred in Mikel Arteta's seventh year at the helm, highlighting the potential achievements that can be realized when a manager is afforded time.

  White House   press secretary   Karoline Leavitt    on Wednesday has criticized  the media, Democrats, and likely some   Republicans   in the House and Senate for trying to “sow chaos” in the White House with their response to the   Signal   text chain debacle. Leavitt was asked by a reporter if she would definitively say that no one would be fired after a journalist was accidentally added to a Signal thread with top U.S. officials discussing military plans. Leavitt said, "What I can say definitively is what I just spoke to the president about, and he continues to have confidence in his  national security team ." Meanwhile, CNN's Collins attempted to ask the press secretary a follow-up question, but was quickly cut off by Leavitt, who called on another reporter in the room.

Trump signs executive order targeting ticket price reselling

  President Trump signed an executive order targeting the ticket reselling industry during a signing ceremony from the White House. The new order will allow the Justice Department and Federal Trade Commission to go after the reselling industry, which has used computer bots and algorithms to buy large blocks of tickets and resell them at extremely higher prices.  Musician Kid Rock, who also appeared at the Republican National Convention last July, was present at the signing in the Oval Office.  The president also took several questions from the press, including on the possibility of additional sanctions on Russia, immigration, and tariffs. “I’ve spoken to him over the years about it and it bothers him,” Trump said about Kid Rock during the executive order’s signing. “It bothers a lot of other artists.
