  Manager Robert Page believes Wales are in a stronger position for Tuesday's Euro 2024 play-off final against Poland than when they qualified for the 2022 World Cup via the same route. Wales beat Finland 4-1 in Thursday's semi-final to set up the Poland tie. They defeated Ukraine in a play-off final to reach the World Cup despite several players not playing regularly. Asked if Wales are in a better position now that issue has been resolved, Page said: "I'd say so." He added: "We are in a healthy position because we've got everybody playing. Troops neutralize terrorist disguising as police officer in Sokoto

  The Nigerian Army working in conjunction with vigilantes have weeded out a dangerous terrorist, who has been disguising as a Police officer in Sokoto to perpetrate heinous crimes. A statement by the Director, Army Public Relations, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, said the violent extremist who was killed on Wednesday 20 March 2024 had often employed disguise to deceive and kidnap unsuspecting victims. The troops also uncovered and destroyed a house used as a covert facility by the insurgent kingpins to store drugs and administer treatments to wounded insurgents.   Vincent Enyeama Vincent Enyeama, former Super Eagles goalkeeper, has been endorsed by UEFA as one of the four goalkeepers who have scored a goal in the history of the Champions League. According to UEFA's official website, the other goalkeepers who achieved this feat are Ivan Provedel, Sinan Bolat, and Hans-Jorg Butt. Enyeama joined this exclusive list when he scored from the spot in Hapoel Tel Aviv's 3-1 defeat to Olympic Lyon of France on September 9, 2010. Later, he moved to Ligue 1 club Lille, where he also enjoyed a successful career. Butt, during his active days, converted three penalties for Hamburg, Bayer Leverkusen, and Bayern Munich in the Champions League. How soldiers were ambushed, killed in Delta community, ex-General

        Major General Cecil Esekhaigbe (retd.)   Major General Cecil Esekhaigbe (retd.) has revealed how 16 military personnel were murdered last Thursday in the Okuama community of Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. Esekhaigbe declared that the unsuspecting soldiers were attacked by residents of the community. He disclosed this when he was featured as a guest on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief breakfast show on Monday. No fewer than 16 Nigerian soldiers were killed while on a mission to douse clashes between two communities in the South-South state of Delta on Thursday.
