Geo News, Army News and BOL TV channels are Hacked By Cyberpunks

Major Pakistani news channels, including Geo News, ARY News, and BOL TV, have reportedly faced significant broadcasting disruptions following a series of cyberattacks on March 1, 2026.

The details of the breach are as follows:

Geo News Interference: The channel confirmed that its satellite transmission via PakSat was subjected to multiple hacking attempts over a 24-hour period. Hackers successfully aired unauthorized, anti-military messages such as "Your Army is Your Enemy".

ARY News & BOL TV: Reports indicate that ARY News and BOL TV also experienced similar disruptions, with hackers inserting misleading propaganda and anti-Pakistan Army content into their feeds.

Tamasha App: The popular Pakistani streaming platform Tamasha was also allegedly affected by this coordinated cyber campaign.

Attribution: Several reports and social media updates have attributed the attacks to Indian and Israeli hackers, specifically naming intelligence agencies like RAW and MOSSAD as being involved, though official government confirmation is still pending.

Channel Response: Geo News management has publicly distanced itself from the hacked content, urging Pakistani authorities to take immediate action and bring the perpetrators to justice
