United States Coast Guard has freed all 4 crew members from capsized cargo ship

                                          Captain John Reed The  Coast Guard  has liberated  all four crew members stranded in a capsized  South Korea -owned cargo ship off the Georgia coast, officials disclosed on Monday evening. The Golden Ray, a 656-foot vehicle carrier, listed "heavily" and then rolled over on its side early Sunday in St. Simons Sound near Brunswick, Ga. Coast Guard rescuers were able to find the South Korean crew members by pulling through  the side and drilled the hole, according to the U.S. Coast Guard, the rescue team interacted with the trapped sailors through the hole they drilled and also gave them food and water through the hole.

Nigerian Army kill Boko Haram fighters, repossess six assault rifles

The troops of the 22 Brigade at the Super Camp in Dikwa fought the terrorists in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force members, recovering six AK-47 rifles and 66 7.62mm ammunition. Woman loses $300K to online romance scam

                                          Picture courtesy WSOCTV A woman looking for love online said she lost $300,000 after she claims a dishonest online con artist named "Donald Moore " used a counterfeit  Match.com profile stole her heart and her life savings.  Betty Davies said she met a man who shared her interests and offered to share her life.  She believed Match.com the safest online dating site, so she joined it.  Donald Moore  emailed her saying he was a chemical engineer on assignment in Malaysia.  "And the deeper he charmed me, the deeper I fell," Davies said.  They planned to meet in Atlanta, but their romance took a dark turn when he told her someone had grabbed his briefcase, which had his wallet and credit cards in it.  Donald said he needed cash.  Davies said she hesitated, but then wired $5,000 and then, $15,000 more .  That's when Donald told her he wanted to marry her. She was tricked until her savings account is empty.

South Africa shut the embassy in Nigeria after xenophobic violence

                                          South African President -  Cyril Ramaphosa South Africa has temporarily closed its foreign offices in Nigeria following revenge attacks by some Nigerians caused by xenophobic rampage in South Africa. Nigeria's government has been outspoken in its condemnation of the violence. South Africa's foreign minister said it is an embarrassment for her country. "Our government regrets all violence against foreign-owned stores or Africans from other countries who are resident in South Africa," national broadcaster SABC quotes the minister, Naledi Pandor, as saying. She had ordered the closure of the country's high commission in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, and its mission in Lagos, following threats made to the diplomatic staff, Ms Pandor told the Reuters news agency.
